Our first Assembly for the year was jam-packed. Themed by our core values, RESPECT, FLOURISH, SERVE, some Year 4 ‘Respect Detectives’ began the Assembly by sharing the different ways our students and teachers show RESPECT. Some students shared how they FLOURISH by talking about one of their cultural celebrations, Lunar New Year. Students also talked about our new Community Spirit Cup and shared many ways we can all FLOURISH by getting involved. A real highlight was when Cath O’Loughlin and our good friend Elliot from CCA came for a visit. Through acts of service in 2020, we were able to present the Childhood Cancer Association with a cheque for $10.952.31 A great achievement and we feel proud that we can SERVE them in this way.
