Teamwork, participation and community are essential elements of the House system.
Immanuel’s House system:
- supports students by creating a community within a community
- provides opportunities for closer relationships to other students in the same House
- creates camaraderie and links to our three core foundations of Respect, Flourish and Serve
- provides leadership opportunities through the roles of House Leaders in Year 6.
Inclusion, embracing challenge and developing individual strengths are proud hallmarks of being a House member. All students are able to gain points for their House throughout the year, and the House Shield is awarded to the winning House at the end of the school year.
All students and staff are placed in one of the Houses, which are Cygnet, Pirie, Rapid or York.
