Wow! What an amazing effort by IPS staff and students during the 20 days of ‘Move It March’ campaign. We moved, we grooved, we showed off our star skills and sporting abilities and most importantly we kept active and had fun.
Students from all year levels participated in ninja runs and cultural sports and the Year 4 students were lucky to have a visit from some Adelaide United Players who demonstrated their soccer skills.
The staff kept fit and healthy by exercising with Big Elliot too. Little Elliot was busy and on the move each day, with eagle-eyed students arriving at school to find his latest sporting adventure. From horse riding, to dancing, tree climbing and skydiving, little Elliot had no shortage of ideas about ways to keep active.
Our Year 6 student leaders did an amazing job of leading and photographing the lunchtime sports and running the Childhood Cancer Association stall in the courtyard each day.
A huge thanks to the IPS community and students for getting behind this initiative and showing your support of the Childhood Cancer Association.
