God’s Word is at the centre of life at Immanuel. The key values of social justice, service, tolerance, empathy, humility, forgiveness, love, courage and hope are values we live by and which provide the very foundation for all that we do.
As well as daily class devotions, whole school worship is held on Friday mornings at 8:50am each week. Friday morning Worship is a distinctive feature of our school. This is a time when all who participate have the opportunity to worship God through praise, song, prayer and hearing God’s Word.
Students in their class groups take turns to participate and lead Worship in many different ways, which may include dance, drama, singing and prayer. They love to be involved which can be witnessed through their joyous singing.
Parents, grandparents and friends are warmly encouraged to join the school community for Worship each week. A very real sense of community has been developed around this essential activity.
