What an amazing community we have at Immanuel Primary School. The Family Fun Day and Colour Run was a huge success with large numbers of families and friends attending. The P & F Committee and Class Carers did an outstanding job in organising this event and made sure there was something for everyone. It was wonderful to see our families enjoying all of the activities and delicious food on offer. We thank our many parent volunteers who supported us in the lead up to the event and on the day too. A highlight of the day was the Colour Run with a large number of parents, staff and students getting involved. It was a day of joy, fun and community spirit. We are thrilled to announce that the Family Fun Day and Colour Run raised a tremendous $25,000 which will go towards the Nature and Maker spaces and resources for the learning spaces.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day was filled with laughter, appreciation, love and pure joy. It was a memorable day for our students and their visitors and for many of our students, it will be one of the highlights of the year. Grandparents’ and Special Friends Day is a chance for our students and the community to thank the grandparents and special friends for their ongoing love, care and support.
Our visitors began the day with a special welcome and concert held in the Immanuel College Chapel. Some of our Year 6 Student Leaders shared a message on ‘What makes Immanuel Special.’ This was followed by our orchestra and choirs entertaining the large audience and showcasing their outstanding talents.
Special time was then spent in the classrooms and there was definitely lots of excitement and joy as students shared their learning with loved ones. It was beautiful witnessing the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren.
Thank you to the many volunteers who helped throughout the day with morning and afternoon tea. Thank you to all who contributed to the Year 6 Cake Stall and the Raffle. Your generous contributions will support the work of Australian Lutheran World Service, Childhood Cancer Association and our school Nature Play projects.
